Thanks for reading my profile.
My name is Cursor Keys Retro, since I am developing projects that have to do with retro gaming and retro computing.
But why "Cursor Keys"? It was what I used to control the first games I wrote, on the Commodore 64. Fun fact: if you know the Commodore 64, you will know that those Cursor Keys are fatally unsuitable to play any type games, so I quickly moved on to joysticks. Those Cursor Keys were so bad to use, they used to haunt me, when I start learning coding all these years ago. So they stuck in my (retro) memory, so now this is my name coding name :).
I am a solo developer. Below are some of my retro inspired projects! All these are brought to you from Sweden. Have fun, and comments are always appreciated.
HyperPyxel, is a pixel (pyxel:) editor, based on the Commodore Amiga "Deluxe Paint", and "Brilliance".
Basic64JS, is an emulator to emulate the BASIC of the Commodore 64. It emulates the whole screen layout, and also has substantial support for POKES. But it is not a replacement for VICE. It lives it's own independent live.
SnakeEscape64 and B3 Snake Escape, is a simple snake game with a twist. Either play in the browser or play on the Commodore 64.
Space Pow Pow
This is my first shoot'em up for the browser. It is similar but not same to Space Invaders. I try to keep that old school vibe, but making it a bit more accessible, and not too serious.
