Tested on MAC book pro (old model)
I just tested it on my Macbook pro, from around 8 years ago, and it seems to work fine, and not take too much power from it.
This I was doing to try and ensure that my game-engine was working smoothly enough on older hardware. You may think it's an extremely simple game, so it should run smooth, but to me it seems that sometimes 2d games, are a bit harder to run smoothly, since nowadays all graphics hardware is optimized for 3d. And getting smooth 2d scrolling, seems harder then to zoom over a 3d landscape in a smooth fashion. Maybe it is about how the eye perceives better un-smoothness in a 2d environment.
If you read this, and have any other Mac hardware, I am happy to receive some test results from how it ran on your hardware.
